Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) is the backbone of modern utility systems, enabling data transfer to/from meters (water, gas, or electric). Wireless signals are transmitted from the meters to centralized receivers, then transmitted to the utilities team for data collection, monitoring, alerting, and billing. In some cases AMI also provides two-way communication, allowing utilities to control meters remotely.
At Integrity Water and Energy, we oversee every aspect of AMI system deployment, including site selection, geological surveys, tower/pole installation, and implementation and commissioning of the wireless equipment. This requires close coordination and sequencing involving several teams and skillsets. We own the complexity and provide a single point of contact, making this process easy for our clients.
